Dover White

Dover White marble, also known as Caribbean lsland is a famous CentraAfrican marble. lt is a particular selection of Bianco Rhino or Bianco Namibiain which the white background is enriched by some light gray and dark gray shades that form elongated ovules. The quarries have good productivity, and the blocks, usually of medium size, are of reasonable availability. Due to their very crystalline structure, Dover White slabs can present micro-cracks which are considerably reduced by subjecting them to resin processing. In the modern plant in Brescia, Ziche submits all Caribbean lsland slabs to triple vacuum epoxy resining maximizing the structural qualities of this marble.Dover White is mainly used for interior floors, and often with polished finish.The extremely light color of this marble favors combinations with other darker or colored marbles.
